2301A Load Sharing & Speed Controls

The 2301A Load Sharing and Speed Control with Temperature Limiting or Process Limiting, is used in electric generator systems for which load sharing is desired. It can be used with diesel or gas engines, or steam or gas turbines, and is compatible with all Woodward electronic controls.
2301A Speed Controls
4–20 mA or 1–5 Vdc Full Authority Speed Setting
The 2301A Speed Control controls the speed or load of diesel or gas engines, or steam or gas turbines. The unit provides control in the isochronous mode, with droop available through an externally-wired potentiometer. The isochronous mode is used for constant speed of the controlled prime mover as long as it is able to provide power to satisfy the load.
2301D Load Sharing and Speed Control
Digital load sharing and speed control for electric generator systems.
Woodward’s 2301D speed controls are used in electric generator systems where load sharing is desired. They are used with diesel or gas engines, or steam or gas turbines, and are compatible with all Woodward electronic controls. The microprocessor-based digital control is housed in a sheet-metal chassis and consists of a single printed circuit board. The flexible configuration software incorporated in the control hardware allows easy changes to accommodate engine speed range, gear teeth, and selection of forward or reverse acting

DYNA 8000 Series Rotary Actuators
Woodward DYNA 8000 Series rotary actuators are components of governor systems that provide engine governing for speed and power control of piston and gas turbine engines or steam and water turbines.The DYNA hazardous duty actuators are UL listed for Class I, Division 2, Group D, hazardous duty applications often encountered in petroleum or chemical industries.
Torque ranges for the 8000 Series actuators are:
DYNA 8000: 1.4 N•m (1.0 lb-ft) with a 35° travel range
DYNA 8200: 4.1 N•m (3.0 lb-ft) with a 45° travel range
DYNA 8400: 7.3 N•m (5.4 lb-ft) with a 45° travel range

GAC ECC-326 Series
The ECC-326 speed control unit is an all electronic device designed to control engine speed with precise response to transient engine loads changes. This closed loop speed control, when connected to a proportional actuator and supplied with a speed signal/ frequency from the main AC generator, will control a wide variety of engines in an isochronous mode.

GAC EDG-5500 Digital Governor
GAC’s EDG-5500 digital governor is designed to regulate engine speed on diesel and gas reciprocating engines. The EDG system is a suitable replacement for any mechanical governor system that needs flexibility, precision, or control of governed speed. The EDG is an integral part of a closed loop speed control system. When connected to an electric actuator and supplied with a speed sensor signal, the governor will direct the fuel system to the desired engine speed setting. The EDG is designed for industrial engine applications from generator sets, mechanical drives to pumps, or compressors.
